SENTINEL AVIATION 6-UNIT PROGRAM
UNIT 1: Intake Evaluation Unit
Assess readiness and build an individualized civilian transition plan.
Function:
Logbook and experience review
Career goals and timeline assessment

UNIT 2: Airline Operations Simulation Unit (Part 61)
Prepare transitioning military aviators for their first day of Initial Operating Experience (IOE) at a major airline through real-world civilian airline operational exposure.
Function:
Multi-engine airline-style flight operations
IFR clearances, SID/STAR procedures, and approach execution
High-density airport and civilian ATC communications
Airline CRM and Threat & Error Management (TEM) application
Measurable Output:
Documented and real-world multi-engine IFR experience
Increased proficiency in civilian airline operational flow
Confidence operating in complex Class B and high-traffic airspace
Improved airline-style crew coordination and decision making
UNIT 3: ATP-CTP Curriculum Unit (Academic & Simulator)
Prepare candidates for ATP-CTP academic and simulator requirements.
Function:
ATP-CTP aligned academics
Systems, performance, and regulations review
Simulator preparation via approved providers

ATP-CTP academic readiness
Simulator confidence
ATP written exam preparedness
UNIT 4: ATP Training & Checkride
Preparation for the FAA Airline Transport Pilot practical test and certification process following successful completion of ATP-CTP and FAA written requirements.
Function:
Baron 55 systems and ATP ground school preparation
ATP oral exam preparation and FAA knowledge review
Flight training in the Beechcraft Baron 55 including IFR procedures, high-density airspace operations, CRM/TEM, and airline-style communications
Multi-engine and single-engine operations including engine-out procedures, approaches, abnormal procedures, and ATP practical test standards preparation
ATP oral/flight test coordination with Sentinel Aviation Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) resources
Important Note:
Sentinel Aviation does not issue ratings. Final certification is issued by the FAA through the designated practical test process (DPE).

Enhanced readiness for major airline initial operating experience (IOE) and airline training environments
UNIT 5: Advanced Proficiency Unit
Maintain and refine ATP-level proficiency. By the hour flying with instructor to build commercial experience using CRM/TEM, two man crew flying custom build for student based on needs.
